Neck Pain

Approximately 70% of people will experience neck pain at some point in there lives, many more than once. While some people will be tempted to take a drug to relieve their pain, research demonstrates that you have other choices.

A study compared spinal manipulation (SMT), medication and “home exercise with advice” (HEA) for acute and subacute neck pain in both the short and long periods. The researchers then measured the pain after 2, 4, 8, 12, 26, and 52 weeks. What they found is that “SMT had a statistically significant advantage over medication after 8, 12, 26, and 52 weeks, and HEA was superior to medication at 26 weeks.” They further concluded that “for participants with acute and subacute neck pain, SMT was more effective than medication in both the short and long term.”

I offer safe, effective gentle spinal manipulation, laser therapy, SCENAR, and deep muscle stimulation along with exercise therapy to provide better relief from neck pain without the potentially dangerous side effects inherent in most drugs.
