2/4/11 How’s your New Year’s resolution?

You still trying to lose weight? How sserious have you been about shedding those excess pounds?

Have you come into the office and had your Body Composition Analysis tested yet? 

I am not into commercial diets like  ‘Weight Watchers’, ‘Nutrisystem’, or “South Beach Diet”. I am into the Paleo lifestyle, anti-inflammatory programs, and helping my clients figure out the specific exercises  for at- home weight loss and fitnesss in general. 

I know the research shows that making resolutions or setting specific heath goals is useful. People who explicitly make resolutions are 10 times more likely to attain their goals than people who don’t. Unfortunately, however, there is a large rate of drop-out. After one month, only 64% have continued to follow the resolutions they have set. My clients keep going way past that mark.
